I'm stopping by here again because another cousin - a particularly close one is having surgery tomorrow at noon. Would you all pray that it goes well for her. I believe they are doing that surgery that is the Carotid Artery in the neck. I guess they are cleaning it out. My sister wasn't sure if they were going to do both sides or not.

This cousin has lots of medical problems anyway so this is a touchy surgery for her. She's such a sweetheart and we are the best friends. I'll keep you informed.

Sorry to come again so soon after my other cousin, but I truely do know your prayers reach the heavens. Blessings to all of you. Thanks.

Forgot to tell you the surgery is on central standard time. Thanks.

Sandpiper, prayers for your cousin. There's no such thing as asking too often.

Prayers for your cousin. I appreciate hearing how you and your sister talk about family members and their ails. My sisters and I do the same.

Is this cousin of the one who recently died? Just thinking how tough that may be if that's the case.

A couple of the older generation in my family have had that surgery and things went very well. Heart disease and cancer run rampid in my family. Yuk.

Thanks for the prayers. I've not heard how she's doing yet. I'll call my sister later tonight. You know sometimes it seems like things are always needing prayers, and I thank God you all are here to send yours up when I need them. You are so terrific and caring.

Dotsie this lady is a cousin also to my cousin that just died. She married into the family but was around us our entire lives so she'd like one of us even though not through lineage.

She and I have a close relationship so it concerns me as we've also had family members have this done but one of them turned out bad. It was one of my uncles and he died from it. So I am concerned.

My sister, who lives in Illinois, and my twin, who lives with me, are great. We chat all the time. We do Yahoo online chats and use the phone like we were next door. Thank God that long distance is free now.

We also have heart disease and cancer in our family. We also have Diabetes. Not good.
