What about a short "My Summer Vacation" essay...I remember in elementary school, every September we had to write an essay about what we did over the summer. At the time it seemed that I never had anything exciting to write, but now I realize what incredibly wonderful summers we had at the cottage.

Maybe we could write a short story about our all-time favourite summer memory.
