Just wanted to share with you my bit of good news!

The new women's devotional book for 2005 is already in print. I just received my copy yesterday and am thrilled and thankful for the opportunity to share with other women.

10 of my devotionals are included in this book titled "Voces del Corazón" (Voices from the heart).

This is a first for me, since my book is still on the works.

Please continue to pray for God's guidance and inspiration in my work. I know I can count on you all!

Songbird, congrats. I'm proud of you!

I'm not sure about this, but I think this is a great time to be a Spanish writer, especially if you can write about your heritage in English. Does that make sense? I wish I could remember where I read this. Darn! I'll keep my eyes open and forward you what I find.

Have you done any Google searches about this? You might want to give it a try because I believe there are specific publishing houses who publish Spanish writers.

I remember that wonderful feeling. Today, your life will change. It's true! It will be assumed that you have a much higher IQ and are much more interesting. Just watch how people's attitudes change about you when you tell them you're published. My agent told me it would happen and he was so right. It's fun and funny. Welcome to your new world. Well, I'm proud my mom and two sisters also contributed one story each (mom has two stories) and she was thrilled . She's had so many experiences where she recognized the hand of God in her life and thought she would never have a chance to share them in writing.

So with much encouragement, she took the challenge. I edited and submited for them. So this joy is shared with all the women in my family !!!!

Two other women from my church also are included in this devotional and it's just great to be a part of it!!

Dotsie, yes, I believe it's a good time to be a Hispanic writer and write Spanish correctly . There are many opportunities available nowadays! God has blessed me abundantly by allowing me to write in both languages.

I'll continue my work encouraging others in their christian path as he allows me to; for I'm just an instrument!
