My love for crosswords was inherited from Mom. She always had the TV Guide open on her nightstand.

I have one in each bathroom, in each vehicle, next to my living room chair and one on my bed stand as well. Cannot "go" without a crossword...traveling, waiting somewhere.

When our neighbor gives us piles of newspaper for packing, I always find the crosswords and keep 'em!

The love of Scrabble also came from Mom. I recall her playing to all hours of the night with our neighbor after we went to bed as kids. Dad worked nights so they "spelled" all night!

The great ones are in the American Way magazine on the planes. I always confiscate those mags whenever I travel (not very often though!)

Sudoku is NOT my bag!!

Love any type of word games but I think most writers do. I never heard of Sudoku?

I do Sudoku daily! Also I'm playing one move each in 7 online scrabble games. I used to do crosswords more but haven't in a while.

I don't do Sudoku either, but when I was on vacation last year with Mom and my four sisters, they ALL did it, except me. I read. Mother is hooked on it. Heck, they all are.

I LOVE jigsaw puzzles. Not the 3-D ones, but the themed ones like Elvis, James Dean, Mickey Mouse, etc...or a beautiful flowery scene.

My partner's daughter likes certain types of crosswood puzzles. I understand the New York times Saturday edition offers a complicated one.

She also wouldn't mind contributing to making a crossword puzzle that is complex.

It actually doesn't surprise me..her love of words and wordplay..

Oh, I'm sooooo in this thread! If time permitted, I'd do word puzzles and jigsaws endlessly! Both relax me more than anything and I can never get enough.
