smile Hi Everyone. I just joined. Terrific idea this website. Has anyone tried the "Elations" drink for arthritis symptoms, etc. ? The last few years I'm having some pain and stiffness in the knees. I tried glucosamine/chondroitin
tablets a while back and they upset my stomach. After that I tried "Elations." That also upset my stomach. I tried taking less of the drink and spanning it throughout the day. It still had an upsetting effect. I wonder if there is something else I can take, or a way to coat the stomach before drinking this. I'm trying to drop some pounds, as I'm two sizes up from what I should be. Hopefully, that will help too.
Thanks.

Welcome Lynn C....
I've tried Elations - it did nothing noticable by me. In fact, I found it made no difference. I assume it is because the problems I experience have a different root cause. I tried another product, too. Found it somewhat effective. It's made by Nature's Plus and called Ultra RX-Joint Cream. It might be that it helped because I massaged it in, tho.

I've been drinking Elations for over a year. I was in such
pain, I could hardly stand it, before I started drinking Elations. I do believe it has helped eased the pain. But I use Pepcid complete and Rolaids softchews throughout the day, to calm my stomach. By the bye Lynn C. welcome to the boomer women speak site.

Thanks for your reply. I also use a joint cream that's
excellent. From what I read, the problem comes from
"within the knee joint" (or wherever the siffness and
pain are), so I'm trying to get at that.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I'm glad the Elations
worked for you. I understand that it's a good
product. Maybe I'll ask my pharmacist what I
should use to coat the stomach.

Lynn C.

I don't know what happened to Dancing Dolphin, but she took
Elations before I did, and she raved about it. It helped her
leg pain. That was a couple years ago.

Yes, I remember that too. Her son also took it.

I know that they have changed the drink so that it isn't as sweet as it once was.

Hi Lynn,
To calm the pain of your arthritis, I recommend that you learn more about alkalizing. Arthritis is now commonly recognized as a condition of over-acidity. In addition to my professional training, I have personally witnessed the positive influence of alkalizing on joint health.

Robin1,
Welcome. I control my arthritis fairly well with exercise and
Elations. About 15 years ago, a doctor told me I had arthritis
in the back of my neck. My limbs ache rather acutely, but it's
intermittent. I assume the weather and too much exertion have something to do with it.

Dotsie,
Didn't know they changed Elations. I drink it everyday but haven't noticed any change.
