Dad was famous for his BBQ hamburgers - my brothers and I have spent the past seven years since he died trying to replicate the recipe, to no avail (but we had fun trying). That will be harder to do without Gary here (he was the most ardent fan of Dad's hamburgers and it was he and he alone who decided whether each batch of my BBQ hamburgers came close to Dad's) but your tribute has inspired me to continue the tradition of having pseudo-Dad's BBQ hamburgers this year, not only in honour of Dad but in honour of Gary from now on as well. _________________________ When you don't like a thing, change it. How did everyone get through Mother's Day? I'm feeling guilty becasue I wasn't around to put flowers on Mom's grave. We were away for our son's college graduation. I think sometimes they get further and further away from you when they have been gone so long . Just my therary on this .
