Danita Member Registered: 01/24/05 Posts: 1550 Loc: Colorado	I think I've shared with you all that I have a friend who has cancer again - and I guess the prognosis isn't good. I just emailed her with this thought I had...I doubt it's original...but it applies to everyone: "we are ALL dying. Period. End of story. The question is...are we all LIVING?" She emailed me how she has been marking the days...and I was thinking how we ALL should mark the days and thank God for every new day that we get for ourselves, and every new day that we get with our loved ones in our lives. danita

Her outlook is amazing...her identity ISN'T the cancer..even after her first round with cancer..she just moved on. She is one of those spiritual women who can rise you from the pit with her edifying and insightful words. D.

Tina sounds like someone who would make others want to live a more fulfilling life and become more spiritual. How smart, and how brave of her to just move on. I don't know that I could have that mindset if I were in her place. She must have great strength and trust in God. She has chosen to not waste a minute of her life. We should all be living this way as none of us know the hour. I will be thinking of her often, and hope you will keep us informed. Miracles do happen! JJ

Chuck and I have been living this way for almost 9 years now, though it's not always easy. Another quote -- and I honestly can't say who originated it --- "The day you stop allowing cancer to be your life, you change from a victim to a survivor." Cheers to Tina for doing just that!
