Hannelore, Anne
I had one of those things too! I HAD to get it the first month it came out. I can't remember the name either, but it hurt like hell and lasted about a day or two. Seems you never get all the hairs out by the roots and you have to do it every single day for a month or two. My interest wore off, as well as my skin, in about 2 weeks.

Remember the Epilady (sp)? My nephew had a hot date and I guess he thought he was going to get lucky or something so he asked his brother to use this on his back. Well, his brother knew it was probably going to hurt so he tied his brother to a chair before doing it so he couldn't jump up and punch him. He screamed bloody murder but his brother just kept going. I guess his back was a bloody mess.

Yes! That is what that contraption was - the Epilady. Horrible pain. Worthless results.

Being a redhead, the hairs on my legs were light and hard to see; therefore, I could get away with not shaving as often as my girlfriends had to, back in school days. Now that I'm older, they are practically non-existent. And that's okay by me.

Ah, yes, the winter coat. When my hubby goes out of town for two weeks at a time in the winter, I don't shave my legs either!

I at least have to shave my right leg because I go to physical therapy for my knee and my therapist bends and stretches it every time. Notice I said noting about my left.
