Good job, you caught on quickly! Now to resize the picture, it's best if you do that from your home program. Copy your photo. Every window program has a Microsoft picture program. Find your picture under that program. You can then resize, like one third of the original picture. Save the smaller size under another name. Then upload that smaller sized photo onto your web picture program.
Maybe you should delete the post with the large picture, because that uses too much storage place on the site.

Louisa, did you click on image in your post? A small window then appears. Copy the URL photograph over the http in the window. Then your picture should appear.

You could make it abit larger. It depends how many bytes you have. Shouldn't be more than 60. If you tap (usually the right button) with your mouse over the picture, then a window will pop up. I'm not sure what they call it in English, it's the description of the picture, and there you can see how many Bytes it has. For example the above picture has 36.
