Just wondering what everyone is using to keep the skin on your faces looking healthy...

I use a wonderful moisturizer called Kinerase. It keeps my skin soft and doesn't make it oily. I love it.

I use a little dab of AHA everyday on my face to try & trick my skin to think it is younger. ......followed by a light moisturizer. At night....I use plain old Pond's cream. Olive oil is very good for your skin also. It is great for hot oil manicures too.

I use Pond's as well. I've also used the Olive Oil for hot oil manicures back when I was taking care of my nails. Now I just bite them.

You might recall that I once posted a request for help for my face...it was (and had been for many years) red, blotchy, itchy (to the point of oozing at times) and unsightly - so bad that it often kept me from going out. I had tried many prescription and OTC products over the years, including some recommended here. But what worked for me was a product that my brother picked up for me at a kiosk in the shopping center last Easter weekend. It's called "Proactiv", and after just a week of using this, my face completely cleared up. It's expensive (I order it from the shopping channel to get the best price), but my face is doing so well now that I can use the Proactiv just at nights and a different (cheaper) product (Body Shop's Aloe) during the day. Needless to say, I'm delighted at the results.

Clean & Clear exfoliating daily wash in the mornings, Clean & Clear facial wipes and Nivea Q10 at night.

Has anyone ever heard of Derma Wand?

I used mild olive oil soap and never dry it, just let it air dry. I also cook with olive oil because no matter what you put on the outside of your face, you have to keep the inside healthy as well. My skin is very soft and hardly have any wrinkles or lines and I'm no spring chicken..

Chatty, you suggested I try olive oil in the thread about my face way-back-when, and out of all of the recommendations, the olive oil worked the best. When my face wasn't oozing, the olive oil was very soothing and my skin was luxuriously soft. Now that my face is so clear now and the winter dryness is setting in, I may add the olive oil to my regime for extra moisturizing.

I use Neutogena products, but obviously they are not working since I was told last week by a skin specialist that I need botox, skin peels, more moisture and just about everything else, just so I look a bit closer to my real age.

I agree, Chatty, what you put into your body is as, if not more, important than what you put on your face.
