Hello ladies. I am starting a new book project. It will be a slice of events from my life of finding out that my husband of 24 years was actually a gay, child porn addicted pedophile. I was living with a monster, a wolf in sheep's clothing, with no clue. It has been devastating.

But I know I'm not alone. If you or someone you know has had their life destroyed by a man 'hiding' in a marriage, posing as a normal man, please contact me.

I would like to have slices from many people to show just how hidden and yet widespread this is becoming.

Everywhere I look I see that pedophilia is on the increase. Internet is making it much easier to feed the addictions. Hollywood actually has a married couple on the new sitcom Classmates that portrays the husband as gay. It's becoming mainstream, which means soon we'll be expected to receive it as normal.

Now the media is reporting that the shooter at the Amish school had molested young girls when he was younger. His note says he wanted to do it again--so he goes out and kills young girls????? What is wrong with us? I feel not only for the families who will deal with the loss of their girls, but with the woman and children who lost their husband and father--not only lost him, but lost the whole image of who he was. And there will be no support net for her to turn to. Indeed she may instead be ostrasized by the community at large.

I am outraged and I know there are many woman who need to share what has happened to them.

This idea is all new in the last few days. Contact me for details.

I need to ask you if I can talk about a brother in law and my sisters husband. If it didn't happen to me by a husband,
I am not sure if you would want something to do with my sisters husband and what he did to me.?
It was hell to go through but it sounds like it would be a long these lines.

Please let me know and then let me know how to contact you.

Nancy

My sister would be a great candidate for this. I'll contact her and see if she wants to contribute.

One thing you might want to do is see if Dotsie would put a call for submissions in her newsletter. I'm sure you would get responses this way. What do you think?

I'm bringing this up one more time to see if anyone knows of any other avenues that might be available for SO to try. Thanks girls for helping! I know she appreciates your efforts!

Nancy,

Sorry I've been swamped at work the last 2 weeks. Please send me an overview of what transpired--it may (or may not) fit with this piece--but we'll never know till we look at it! Go to my website www.pattiswriting.com and you can send e-mail from there.

Thanks for your interest!
Patti
