Good idea Donna cause they're talking "tarring and feathering" in here today. The natives are restless.

Kevin is a great illustrator!

Gosh dang, I got called into work early. I'm gonna miss the Tarring & Feathering. Keep me posted would ya.

Good Morning all, I am new to forums but wanted to share my 'bragging writes'. I work for a ministry and was able to write the story of the founder and his wife; their early years behind the walls of communism, his years as a bible smuggler across Northern Europe and Russia, his many captures, interrogations and torture. He finally escaped (quite a story in itself), leaving his wife and 5 children behind as the secret police were coming to kill him. They have a marvelous story of survival and miraculous provision, stories as they made their way across Europe, out of communism and eventually became US citizens.

The ministry self-published it and we are now marketing it everywhere we can think of. I have been writing for a couple of years now and have done some ghostwriting in the past that was published world-wide but this is the first piece with my name on it--what a thrill that is!

I am trying so hard not to get too excited but I can't believe I did it--I wrote a book--everytime I look at the cover and see MY name--I just can't get over it! What a rush! Is this how everyone feels or is it me?

SO...silly girl! Are you going to tell us the name of the book? hahaha....spill your guts hun. Otherwise, how do we know which book to buy? And yes, to answer your question, doing the happy dance when you see your name on a book is mandatory! Its positively a must!

I was so glad the editor put the illustration at the bottom of the poem. Someone told me they thought it was a gerbil loose in the house, [Eek!] so it being a snake caught her by surprise. I thought naming him "Salami" would give it away! [Big Grin]

Thanks!

Donna
