As a writer, 2005 has been a good year for me. I fulfilled a dream by writing and self-publishing Carousel Kisses. That has gone better than I expected. I have also found another newspaper to write for and have had several pieces published online. I found BWS and have made many new friends from all over the map.

I don't really make New Year's resolutions. I don't believe in it. But, I do have things I would like to accomplish in 2006. I'm thinking of another book. Maybe one of just poetry. Not sure yet.

TVC, yes. Several of the women have spoken about creating dream charts. I am creating one on January 1st. I've been thinking aobut it for weeks. It will have persoanl and professional goals. This is a big year for me. I become an empty nester if both of my high school seniors go away.

I like the thought of calling it a dream book. I'm going to do one too! I like it better than calling it resolutions and goals. Dream is such a nice word! Thanks Dotsie!
Good luck on the future empty nest. My youngest will be 16 in february so I have a little time left before I get to where you are.

I too would like to thank Dotsie and all the rest of you for making BWS such a great place to be. I had about given up on internet women's group until I found a home here. I'm so glad that 2005 brought us together, and hope we stay that way for many years to come.

As to my resolutions, I plan to start writing the story of the things that have changed my life so dramatically in the last seven years. It's something my family and friends have been encouraging me to do for a while. And I finally feel strong and determined enough to start doing it. That's a giant step for me -- one I couldn't have imagined undertaking at this time last year. What a difference a year can make!

A Big warm hug filled with many thanks to Dotsie and to all of you Ladies on this website for being a very soft place for me to land these past couple of months...I look forward to getting to know you all better in the coming year and feel hopeful knowing I have already made some good friends and wish to make so many more...I want all of you to know that I am always here for any of you in any way that I can be of help...to listen to laugh with and especially to care about each and every one of you...my heart is so filled with love and the hope that the upcoming year will be a good one for each and every one of us...
