Me three girls and no Dianne it seems some things never end, they just drag on, and on, and on and, oh well you know what I mean....

My husband showed up in Atlanta the day after I arrived. Maybe there is a heart there after all.

My aunt passed Sunday afternoon. I'm too raw to write about it right now. I'm in a deep funk. Later, when I'm able, I'll post the poem she made me promise to read just minutes after her death. Not easy but it clearly stated where she was...with the Lord. I'll post it at a later date.

Dianne, I was just thinking of you not ten minutes ago and wondering. I am so sorry to hear of your dear Aunt's passing. Please know I'm thinking of you during this time of grief.

Dianne, I've been curious about how the weekend went for you.

You're in my thoughts and prayers during your time of grief. We're here when you're ready to share.

I feel better today but most of my thoughts are on my aunt. She wouldn't want me to be sad.

Here is the poem I read just moments after she passed, at her request.

I am now in heaven,
the gates have opened wide
And now I have the priveledge of walking by His side
Tha angel choir is singing and the music is so sweet
I'll join them just as soon as I have worshipped at His feet.

I am now in heaven and the bloodwashed throng is here
I recognize a lot of them, there's not a single tear
There's joy beyond description and reunions by the score
There'll be no separations for we'll be here evermore

I am now in heaven, please wipe away your tears
I've fought the battle, run the race, I'm rid of all my fears
There is no pain or sorrow here: The heartaches now are past
I've read and sung of heaven and now I'm here at last

I am now in heaven and oh, the place is grand!
No one could ever tell me about the beauty of this land
Since I cannot describe it, you'll have to come and see,
That it was worth the trials, to live here eternally.

What a heart felt beautiful poem. I would love to get your permission to read it allowed at Church during Bible class. I'll wait to hear from you though.

Since I didn't write it, I don't have the authority to give permission so feel free to read it. I don't know where my aunt found the poem but she told me about six years ago that she wanted me to read it after she passed. It really is beautiful and exactly how she felt.

Dianne, thanks for sharing that poem. I picture my mom dancing the streets of heaven. Knowing she's in a better place helps me handle the grief.
