Oh my GOD!! If I was 20 years....even 10 years younger, I'd move there in a hot minute.....just to roll in it. You can walk a block and hear a dozen different accents.....you can almost cross the street on the wrong color light and see 35 cabs approaching you at a break-neck speed......going across one cross walk you can be walking with four racks of clothes, two huge rolling carts full of produce, 10 or 15 regular pedestrians, a group of 15 oriental tourists, complete with cameras and fanny packs, one girl with a flowered gauzy skirt, tank top, jean jacket and knee-high red cowboy boots.....and a couple of flower carts........JUST LOOK AT THAT......ALL IN ONE CROSSWALK, ALL IN ONE MINUTE OF YOUR DAY!! oh MY god... I LOVED IT!

Now I ask you Ladies...Where in the whole wide world on the world wide web can you get a play by play of a place you've never been?

I've been there many times, but haven't seen half as much as Kate. I'm taking notes from her.

Sorry...I'm a little bit buried with housework and work work...but I'll post more in a day or so. It's been so much fun sharing this with you all. And I haven't really even touched on Pennsylvania. I'm STILL really excited about my trip and I'm already planning my itinerary for next year. I don't think I've ever wanted to go somewhere again this much.

okay, so I don't wear tank tops anymore but the rest of it...straight out of my closet. oh, and the "girl" part as well. haven't been one of those in decades.
