I have wanted to try double dutch again since I was a child but could never find anyone to turn the ropes. If we ever have a big boomer gathering we should have a game/play area. Rope turners wanted:)I was never that good with a hula hoop but if your loosing the hip thing perhaps belly dancing will help. I haven't tried it yet but I hear it is fantastic exercise and lots of fun.

I promise our oxygen hoses won't get tangled in our ropes JJ:) Hey if we are all jumping rope, hula hooping, playing conkers and belly dancing whilst sucking on oxygen we're sure to get on Good Morning America or else get taken away to a padded cell. Either way it will be a day to remember! [Smile]

"And remember this motto to live by: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I second that! I think that, as adults, we sometimes forget how to play. And sometimes we take ourselves far too seriously. [Smile]

"We stop playing because we grow old
We grow old because we stop playing"

So, let the fun begin! Until the big boomer gathering, any suggestions on games humor beings can play with each other?

Val: Remember "limbo rock"? Wonder how low most of us can get to? Oh, the back, the back...!

One time we had a game on here where we started a story and everybody would jump in and add to it. It was so much fun! We could do that, however, remember the forums are going to be updated any day, and we might get started and then WHAM! Everything would be gone. Anyhoo...that's one suggestion.
