For some reason, it brought to mind some sentimental longing for that small dot that lingered when the TV was turned off. Don't ask...just does...and loving it.

The other thing we used to do with them was put a large book on the skate, sit on the book, and go whizzing down the hill next to our house. How I never broke my neck I will never know! I did take a few spills and cracked my tail bone a time or two, but it never stopped me. And not only the small dot but also the test pattern if you turned on the TV before the day's programming started!! Wow.

We exercised in the morning, vegged in the afternoond, then went into the city to walk around and have dinner.
