I turned around, eyes - a- blazin' - "I'm 58 not 85, Samuel ! And what do you MEAN you don't WANT me to be ANYWHERE????? When does that happen? That they think they can talk to us in such a way??? As if THEY'RE calling the shots now..Hmpph. That'll be the day!. Well, he shut up pretty quick. (altho it was kinda cute that he was concerned. shhhhhhhh.)

One time I got a letter that said, "I think it's great that someone like you (translation: old fart) can draw a comic". Another person actually wrote me this: "I hope I'm like you when I get old". I thought, well, gee, thanks, I think. I'm 55. Maybe I'm kidding myself, but I thought that 55 was still middle-aged. Isn't it?

Often I would seek the internet to recharge my positive outlook on life when it becomes drained by so much negativity.I can't wait to tell all my friends about it.Look out world, the baby boomers have formed a mighty sisterhood!
