Has anyone seem the Easter Baskets out there, in K-Mart and Wal-Mart? I was looking for something for my Grandson and they have Chocolate bunnies that are 3ft high? I saw some chocolate eggs that could have been laid by an ostrich. I had to get the heck out of there. I felt like Ray Milland in that OLD movie where he was a helpless alcoholic. Darn it, can't remember the name. Wow, talk about a chocolate rush! Thank God for the BWS diet. Honest ladies just looked, no touching or munching.

Hip, hip hurray for Chatty!! Isn't it amazing what having to fess up to a bunch of other dieters will do for your will power??

I'm not a sweets fan, as most things taste increasingly wa-ay too sweet(automatic weight control!) but count me in with the dark chocolate(the 70% dark) camp. Milk chocolate does nothing for me, and white chocolate-yuck!(IMO that's not even chocolate, just some weird white substance that's ruining a perfectly good item1).
The great thing about really good, really dark chocolate is that you don't have to eat alot to be satisfied, but with the overly sweetened lighter stuff, you end up eating more as sugar is SO addictive. I stay away.
But when I have a fantastic extremely dark chocolate anything, I enjoy every little bite - no guilt. Too many people these days apologize for enjoying even a little bit of a fantastic dessert and go on about how they shouldn't be eating it, etc., like they're committing a sin for enjoying it! If the rest of the diet is good, and you're moving it, enjoy that occasional treat - your quality of life will be alot better!

Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, but best is a good dark. I remember when I first started eating it, an old b/f bought me some and...and...it made me horny! ROFL He forever brought me dark choc from then on. LOLOL

oh, and another thing. I was looking up erythritol [a sugar] last nite and found Cargill makes it. AND Cargill owns a LOT of stuff. Peter's chocolate for one, and...Wilbur's chocolate for another. Isn't that just too interesting it's in PA?

And we just got back from the Venetian hotel in Vegas for a trade show and were upgraded to the Tower rooms [concierge level] and had chocolates on the bed at turndown. The first nite...doan cha know, chatty kathy me...chats to the housekeeper and she gave us TWO extra boxes of chocolates. they were truffles....oh yummmmmmy. hazelnut and whatever the other was...it was GOOD!
