Share the wealth, I always say...and so does Steven Manchester, a good friend of mine. His web page is http://www.stevenmanchester.com/ and here is what he sent me, and with his permission, I'm sharing it with all of you writers. I see so many of you in the request here and so I say ... Happy submitting!

1. WANTED: DOG TALES. I'm looking for uplifting, inspiring stories of our canine companions -- powerful, true stories demonstrating the love and
loyalty they give us so unconditionally. Submission guidelines:
http://www.greatwesternpublishing.org/dogs/doguides1.html
--John Cali, john@greatwesternpublishing.org

2. Let's face it, COLLEGE CAN BE A CONFUSING time for even the sharpest students. To lend a hand we are currently writing books of success
principles for college freshman & graduating seniors.

We are looking for helpful tips for a new college student (what did you wish you knew before you arrived on campus?). We are also looking for your best tips or stories with getting your career off the ground after
graduation.

Please send any submissions to Steven at swntrainer@yahoo.com

3. I'd like to interview people for my upcoming book, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING TO ME!: WHAT TO DO WHEN LIFE BLINDSIDES YOU, STEALS YOUR
DREAMS, AND ROCKS YOUR WORLD. This book identifies the ten critical choices after tragedy that make or break the rest of your life. If you've been through a traumatic life event and would be willing to share what did
and did not work in your recovery from it, contact me at BevSmallwd@aol.com

4. I'm completing a book for which I'm seeking QUOTATIONS from experts (psychiatrists, psychologists, life coaches, etc.) on HOW A PERSON CAN BEST CONFRONT AND OVERCOME THE GREATEST OBSTACLES IN THEIR LIVES.
Thanks, Rena Dictor LeBlanc

5. TALENTED TEENS. I'm working on a book series for teens who used their God-given talents. Send your stories for consideration to:
Clary Lopez editor@clarylopez.com. Subject: Teens http://clarylopez.com

6. Looking to compile real life "SWAN STORIES" of people who were identified as a dead-end kids early in life but who now in adulthood have
proven everyone wrong in a positively shocking way. Creating an anthology on Swan Stories that are a testament to human spirit and resilience and the courage to shine despite the obstacles. I am especially interested in hearing from people who were the most likely to be voted "Least Likely to Succeed" in High School and exceeded anyone's put downs. I really want to
know (A) how they did it, (B) why they believe they proved the naysayers? wrong, and (C) what lessons do they want to pass on to the current
generation of pre-teens and teens who struggle against unsupportive authority figures. Send stories (no more than 4 or 5 pages double spaced)
to: Maverick8@sympatico.ca
--Rheba Aralar Estante, (416) 921-4985

7. Need stories about the BENEFITS OF KNOWING ANOTHER LANGUAGE IN ADDITION TO ENGLISH you or someone you know experienced in your personal/professional life. The book's final editing approaching, please do not drag it. Will give you proper credit, name listed in "contributors" and index, contact info if it logically fits in (will find a way to make it fit!). Don't worry about the style, we will take care of your "diamond in the rough"! submit to svetlana@intlacademy.us

8. I would like to hear from people who have MOVED FROM THE CITY TO THE COUNTRY or at least a rural area. What do you wish you had known before
the move? What have you learned since the move? Do you regret moving? Or anything else you would want to tell me. It would also be helpful to ask
those who are contemplating such a move, why they want to do so and what questions they may have. I?m a ranch wife writing about the subject and trying to explain it from the city person?s point of view. Please contact me via email (it?s calving season here.) peggy@rapidnet.com . Thank you!
Peggy Sanders

9. Am writing a book about SIBLINGS WHO BECOME ESTRANGED FROM EITHER DEALING WITH AGING PARENTS OR INHERITANCES. Please send stories to:
taleofsisters@aol.com

10. I am seeking poetry, stories, and general musings on DEATH, LOSS, LOVE, AND HOPE to be included in an upcoming book. The book is tentatively titled Reflections on Love and Loss, and is similar to the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. Contact me (email: pchanstockton@yahoo.com) with any questions and I will happy to view your submission.

11. We are finishing a book on BUYING AND SELLING BUSINESSES. One chapter involves problems that arise during the final stages of a sale, and their solutions. Brief examples from your experience would be appreciated.
smcmd@aol.com

12. DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE ANY CHILDREN, HUSBAND OR WIFE OR
BROTHERS OR SISTERS? If so, I would love to talk with them. Or they can email me with their situation and/or background. Stories with names
changed will be included in my upcoming book drjamaclark@aol.com

13. Stories wanted for a book on PROSTATE CANCER. The book will concentrate on coping with the disease and we would like to receive
inspirational stories, with an emphasis on your emotions at various stages of treatment (if untreatable, how you have come to terms with this) and inner resourses that have helped sustain you. The book will have a cricketing theme and, where possible, will be humorous and lighthearted. The main aim of the book is to promote awareness and to give hope and advice to those living with the disease. If you, or your partner, has come face-to-face with this silent killer, we'd like to hear from you. Stories from cricketers and wives and significant others would be particularly welcome.
Please contact: Graham at natural@global.co.za.

Please do NOT use my name when submitting. These people do not know me from Adam's all gray goose. I'm just the messenger...

Wow, thanks for sharing JJ. I don't have any of the experiences they are looking for, but I'll bet several on this forum do.

Good luck ladies!
