Chick, Robin, & Smile. This is just a 1st draft, I usually don't post them til I revise, but I wanted 2 let Chick know that I wrote a new piece, had not wrote one since I got back from Minnesota!

The Storms That Come Are Way

Today, like all days, I have been blessed.
To awake to another day of life…hearing the birds sing.
I have once again…been spared…to pray for others.
Life…is hard…friends ease the burdens…the trials.
We are here today…gone tomorrow.
Complain, sure…we are human…imperfect, even spoiled.


All the money in the world…can’t buy life.
Work to enjoy life…don’t let it control you.
Spend time with family and friends…have no regrets.
Give loved ones flowers…while they are alive
Not to put on their graves.
Continue to pray for others…not just when things are bad.

All of us basically want the same things…
Family, friends, good health…to be loved.
There is no room for jealousy…covetousness.
We can help change this world…that is out of control,
By first…changing ourselves.
It can be done…in spite of.

The tree has since been removed. Another storm is on the way. I am looking out the window now!

Is this being positive or what????

They have been showing us all the destruction here all week. The flooding has caused a lot of animal deaths and homes have been flooded with everything being lost. A man had a tree hit his home. He died. I can still see remnants of my tree that fell but most of it has been removed.
More rain is on the way!

Oh Caged, you have added to my day. I feel honoured that you wrote your poem and humbled that you dedicated to me and others. It is beautiful. You have to submit it somewhere and we'll follow it's journey.
I am glad you are keeping safe with the weather as it is.

Speaking of Journeys...Italy, you wish you could...I am a very tiny framed person and I can lose weight in a hurry. I'm short too. A regular size suitcase with breathing holes works for me. No, no, I have money to spend when I get there and I promise, I won't get in the way. Is this being positve or what....
