Many of you know I have 10 articles in our women's devotional book by women-"Voces del Corazon" or "Voices from the heart". It is a proyect within my church organization to raise funds for scholarhips used to help women complete their studies. It is usually a yearly proyect.

I have been encouraging women to write their experiencies for this devotional book.
[Smile] I am now giving a workshop in different area churches to teach women how to write their articles to meet guidelines and get published.

[Razz] There are plans for me to have this workshop presented in my beloved Island-P.R. If so, it will be a much larger audience. Please pray for me as I prepare for this. It is a privilege to contribute what I've learned along the way. I'm excited and humbled at the prospect of such a task!

As I look back... I would've never imagined me doing something like this, but I know God has a plan and a purpose for my life.

Thanks!

Song, you just keep listening and every little thing will be okay. He will give you everything you need for your journey. It is His promise. I am so proud of you. Keep following His lead! You can't go wrong.

Hello Song, you've been called to this task because you are capable, and it is yours to do. You are living your purpose. How great is that? What a wonderful thing to 1) help women write their stories 2) use these stories as a fund raiser for women's scholarships. This is important work. I agree, you will be given all that you need to fulfill this mission. Gosh, I wish I could take this from you. Are you saying that P.R. is Puerto Rico? Why is it your favorite island? Do you need a passport to go there? Love and Light, Lynn

Dotsie & Lynn: Thanks for your encouraging words. This is all so new and exciting. I trust the Lord is fulfilling His purpose in me- Psalms 138:8.

Lynn, Yes! P.R. stands for Puerto Rico. I was born in NY to puertorican parents. I was raised in P.R. and I've been here so long, but I love the Island.

[Cool] No. You don't need a passport to go there from the U.S.

[Razz] I'm excited for my trip. Last time I was there, 1997, was to help my twin sister with wedding prep. and didn't have time to enjoy the surroundings that much. But just to be there gives me a sense of freedom, of fresh air. I look forward to sitting on the porch and enjoy the sunset, visit the beach and enjoy the smell of the waves, the song of the birds. It is beautiful at sunrise too! And a moonlit night? Just gorgeous! Surprised it is a tourist paradise? The island is such a great getaway for lovers and newlyweds!

[Big Grin] Did I convince you already? Oh, but the most beautiful part is the people. People, for the most part, are wonderful, giving, helpful, and have a beautiful heart.

[Wink] I told my husband that after I finish my engagements (and I'm all booked up) I need a vacation just to enjoy the Island. But I have to come home, as I have an engagement here a few days after I return.

[Smile] Even if I don't get much time off, just to be there and contribute to inspire others is an answer to my lifelong prayer. So I will not complain, just be thankful for the opportunity to be there.

Ladies: I travel this week. I'll be thinking of you! Not sure I'll be able to connect while traveling.
I do pray all of you remain safe in God's arms "til we meet again".

Blessings!
