Ladies just a reminder - anyone who was "thinking" about coming to the Book 'Em event in Waynesboro, VA next month has only until SEPTEMBER 21st to sign up to attend! I know MANY of my fellow Boomer Buddies will be there and I'm excited about meeting all of you - but if you were on the fence about coming or not, or are new to the forum and don't know what I'm talking about.....here's the link to the website with ALL the details and a registration form. There's no fee to pay to participate, nor is the general public charged to attend to buy our books and hear the talks and panel discussions!

Sherri, the original Book 'Em thread is (I think) too old to still be shown anywhere on the forum - BUT if you have any questions either I can answer them for you since I've been to the event before OR check out the website link I posted.

Visitors to the event don't pay to attend and authors who participate don't pay to have a table. If you are just planning on coming to see your Boomer sisters (and some of the other super authors who are attending) you just walk in the door!! It's a two day event this year because there are SOOOOO many authors who've signed up to come. Take a look at the website and see what I mean - I'm planning on buying several books myself since I can get them autographed "on the spot".

I remember way back when the original thread was posted that you said you might be coming just to visit - hope you still can.

Pam, I can't remember if I told you or not. I had a book signing in Northern Ohio scheduled for the end of this month. Well, guess what? They changed it to the weekend of Book 'Em. It's an event with a bunch of other children's authors, so I'm really looking forward to it, but it means I won't be able to attend in VA.
