I can honestly say that having a web page done professionally was the best thing I've ever done (besides joining here). At least 80% of my books sales have been through my webpage. My newsletter has grown by leaps and bounds (All Things Royal) and people tell people. That's the best ad you can have...word of mouth. Marketing a book is a lot of work (but worth it!) and I've read over and over that you better be doing your homework the first 6 months your book comes out because after that, its all uphill. It goes back to the saying, "strike while the irons hot" or in our case, "while the books new."

You have to be like bird poop, everywhere!
