Hi NJ Feather, I guess it depends on what genre your book is. Having a web site has been the best thing I could have done as far as promoting my book and my work. I used Authors Den for a couple of months, and did not think it was worth the investment, albeit small. As for my site, most of the book sales do go through Amazon and barnes and noble.com. I created my web site myself, which was difficult and aggravating and crazymaking. However, now that it's done, it's easy to change things as needed. I don't do a newsletter, but I do use blog pages to post my reviews of books that are on topics similar to mine. By the way, I was born in NJ, and lived there half time while growing up. Much of my story takes place in NJ. LLL
