Hey, everybody. THANKS :-)

I'm so excited about that rating. Actually, what happened was that the coordinator of the Mature Health and Travel Show asked me to speak at the Congress Center downtown -- a big event. But when I got there, it was a very small crowd and I was disappointed.

However, the publicity that I received regarding the event must have driven people to Amazon. The sales for my hip replacement book are very interesting. It sells steadily online -- nothing terribly remarkable, but I've sold well over 500 books since its release last November 22. Yet it does not sell in bookstores and I tend to get very small crowds when I speak.

My conclusion is that many of the people who require hip replacements are not that mobile. They hear about me on TV, on the radio or on the Internet and then they go directly to Chapters.ca or Amazon but they can't or won't come out to hear me speak.

I'd rather sit at home in my PJs anyway. LOL. Seriously, it's interesting to know which marketing techniques work and which don't.

Love and best wishes to everyone,
Sigrid
