Sigrid PS My aunt just called to say she finished my book in two days and loved it. She cried at the end! I knew she was being sincere - made me happy.

As for AH, it's only May, so the end of the second quarter is June 30. Then we wait for six weeks to get our little tiny itty bitty teeny weenie checks. LLL

That's when I started the discussion of how do I know they are accurate? It seems a lot of people tell me they bought my book via Amazon, but these readers are not reflected in the statements I get from AH. You must call them! LLL

But they do not pay people their royalties until somewhere around the middle of May. Those checks have not gone out yet. What you received was some sort of a refund or something other than your royalty :-) This is great news. It means that within the next two weeks, you should get a check from them based on the books that you actually sold. Let's keep our fingers crossed :-) Sigrid

I'm really excited. Of course, it will still take me an eternity to make back the money that I invested, but that book is selling very well. What about you? Did you get your statement yet? Even if you did not receive your payment in the mail, your statement is probably up on your web site. Go get it, girl!
