Kids,
If you would like, Sisters-in-the-Lord has some great reading. Pam Kimmell, our very own, has poetry AND an interview in this issue. Also, moi has a true story bout being newlywed and cooking...it ain't pretty. You can read all about it at: http://www.sistersinthelord.org/magazine/index.html

Also, if you would like to see what happens to me when I take medications, go to
http://allthingsroyal.blogspot.com/ and have a look. Again, it ain't pretty.

Jawjaw, you are most definitely the Queen of Comedy!
Thank you for a great couple of laughs to start my day with. Just what the doctor ordered... [Smile]
I just hope that you remember all of us little people when you become rich and famous for your wonderful humor writing!
I'm so glad to know you.

Don't temp me...there is nothing prettier than the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina...my bags are almost packed. Now if we can just convince Chatty to send us food she's cooked, we'd have it made, would we not?

There's definitely room for Chatty and her food! But this has gotten completely off topic! Everyone, go read Jawjaw's wonderful stories!

jawjaw and pam...congrats! Great work.

Pam, I didn't know you were the secretary for your church. What fun. How do you keep it from taking over your life?

I once worked part time at our church as the Coordinator of Member Care. After three years it became a full time job and I couldn't do that while raising my kiddies so I left.

Thanks for the congrats on the interview and poetry - it was really fun that JawJaw and I appeared in the same issue of the magazine too!

Dotsie, the job of church secretary at my teeny little church is only part-time and with a congregation of forty active members, there's not THAT much to do. It couldn't take over my life even if I wanted it to. We are busy though - just got a new membership database program which I'm learning and I've started a newsletter which they've never had before.....just ways for me to inject some creativity!! It's fun and the people are wonderful. We have a brand new Pastor too and he's great.

As for Sisters In The Lord - my hat is off to Dian for the work she puts into the magazine. It's a beautiful piece of work and Sharina, the person who interviewed me for this piece was just great....I felt like I was talking to a friend right off the bat.

I will have a piece in the next issue too, I'm happy to say.

Robin thanks for the private message - you are a sweetie!

Hugs to all.... [Wink]
