Dian Member Registered: 04/30/04 Posts: 401 Loc: Moundsville, WV	Hello Ladies: If you had the chance, what are the questions you would like to ask a poet? Debuting on Jan.3, the Sisters in the Lord magazine will be featuring one poet per week, male and female, with up to three of their poems. Our goal is to have a picture of the poet, and an interview-type article to accompany the feature. So, what are you just dying to know?

If you're looking for a template: 1. When did you start writing? 2. How often do you write? 3. why do you choose free verse/sonnets/tanka etc.? 4. what is your inspiration? 5. do you have any goals with your writing? 6. autobiographical? 7. favorite topics? 8. how does your overall philosophy of life influence your writing choices? 9. who/what has influenced you? I could go on and on and ...

Are you inspired more by events, people, setting or longings? As Meredith pointed out, each poet will be different, but having some questions to start with will help our profile writer get the ball rolling.
