Ladies, This is legit. I spoke with Sally last week and told her I would share this information with the writers on my site. She has a contract with Chicken Soup and needs more stories by October 22. Here's her message:

WHAT IF MY STORY IS SELECTED FOR PUBLICATION?

1. If your story is selected, you will be notified by mail and your permission to print it will be requested.

2. If your story is published, you will be paid upon publication of the story. Payment amount will be determined at that time. (Current rate is $300 per story.)

I just sent her an e-mail asking her if I could send in a final re-write of an article that I wrote about a quadraplegic friend. Do you think she might still be taking stories through today?
It said by 10/22/04. My writer friend says it is an excellent article and looks like one that would be included in their series of books.
