Thistle Cove Farm Member Registered: 01/01/04 Posts: 678 Loc: Tazewell County, VA, USA	Hi all...I need some help with understanding what I'm being asked to give. I've submitted an essay for a devotional and the editor wants the following: "Your Byline (as you would like to see it in print)" "Author Bio (two or three sentences about yourself you would like for readers to know) I don't know what "byline" means; would someone please give me an example? What would people like to know? I mean, I'm not that interesting but what I do is really interesting. Thanks for any help.

For example, Jane Smith, or Dave Jones, Ph.D., etc... TRhe reaosn they ask this is some people like to be called Barb, but want their byline to be Barbara for instance. Author bio depends on the publication. The one I work for wants to know position, school you work for, city, state, and contact info. For this devotional thing I would put your city, address. What you do for a living. Kids, husband, and maybe one sentence on your faith that intersts you.
