Oh how I'd love to get my hands dirty in the garden these days. The only thing I'm doing outdoors is shoveling.

My resolution has been to talk less. I have to say I'm getting better at it and it has made a difference in the atmosphere of my home.

Also, while out in the world with family and friends I'm just trying to think before I talk. It sounds so simple, but it takes work.

I've always told my kids to use their words to build one another up. I'm trying to follow my own advice.
