Ladies,
I just got off the phone with Ross and our beloved leader, Dotsie, is under the weather. She's having some test run at the hospital as I type this.

Possibly diverticulitics (phonics), or cyst, or something along these lines. They don't know yet, but as soon as I know, YOU will know.

Let's gather together as one voice and offer up a prayer that God will guide the hands of the technicans running the tests, the doctors reading them, and of course help Dotsie to relax and turn it all over to the big guy above...

Would you believe her concern right now was for YOU ALL? Yep, she wanted you to know WHY she wasn't posting tonight. Is that her or what? She just gets back from vacation and comes straight to us...or tries too. Bless her heart...

Well, just wanted to update you on what's going on right now and as I said, as soon as I know, you'll know. I promise.

ps. I know your hearts...you will want to send her an encouraging email but please hold off until tomorrow or until we know more. After being gone for a few days, her inbox is probably full. And of course, your prayers can be the best medicine right now. She sends her love to each of you!

This is why I'm not a fan of Mexico. I don't like to visit places where you can't drink the water. I'm betting that's what's wrong with her.

Warning! If you are going to travel to Mexico, go on antibiotics before and during your stay. I've had friends, just like Dots, who end up at the hospital after traveling there.

And, don't just think about drinking water. Consider salads, where they have washed the lettuce in their water. You have to be so careful!

I have been to Mexico too and we did not drink the water when we were there only soda took water from Az over the border for the day . Even in counties abroad they tell you to drin bottled water . Oh, I hope Dotsie gets better soon.

No , I don't care to go back to Mexico again either .

Oh, I'm so sorry Dotsie is sick. I hope it is something minor and will soon be over.

I have been all over Mexico many times and somehow always avoided Montezuma's revenge, but those I know who have had it say it is terrible though it might be better than some of the things mentioned.

I'm praying whatever it is is short lived and Dotsie is back with us again soon.

Dotsie I hope you wake up this morning feeling 100% better....meanwhile I'm certainly praying that it's not something serious - just a "Mexico-related" ailment like "green apple 2-step" or, as some call it, "Montezuma's Revenge"....not that having that is a lot of fun but certainly better than something truly serious.

Dotsie, you're on my heart and mind as well today (especially very early this morning, during my regular 3am hour of insomnia - which I swear God gives me precisely to pray for people, because it seems that as soon as I pray for the people on my mind, I fall asleep again!)

Joining the group late today and am sad to see our leader not her cheery self. Whatever it is thats causing the problem is in for it now and apparently doesn't know the fury or the strength of the Boomer prayer circle. We've got your back Dotsie, never fear, love is a healer and I'm hoping you can feel all our arms around you now and always.

Ladies,
Just got off the phone with Ross. Dotsie's test results showed she does have an acute case of diverticulitis.

Ross asked that no one call or visit the hospital please. She's having a fair amount of pain and isn't up to company. He did add that he was sure we all understood. I assured him that was the case and we would wait until we got the green light from him or a member of the family.

There is the possibility she may get to come home tomorrow, so for this we can all be grateful.

As I learn more, I'll pass it on but let's all respect the wishes of the family and for now, keep her in our thoughts and prayers; I know you will.

Thanks for the update JJ. I just got home from a Father's Day BBQ and came right to the computer to check on her.

Wow, been out of touch for a couple days and look what I find!

But Dotsie is in my prayer list each day. It's a God-incidence that, when I woke up this morning, I immediately went through my paryer list and prayed for each one, not knowing that our beloved Dotsie was in distress. But God knows and
HE IS IN CONTROL .

Diverticulitis is not comfortable at all and I pray she is feeling better soon.

Dear Dotsie, please take all the time you need to recoup and worry not about us. God bless you and yours. We do miss you!

Talked to Dotsie this morning and she is still in the hospital. She hopes to come home today, however, it is still up in the air. She will let me know later today. I will post just as soon as I learn something new. She loves you all and of course feels your presence there. She is very grateful!

Dotsie is home and resting. She hopes to make an appearance here maybe tonight or tomorrow, but she will have to wait and see.

Asking once again that you please hold all emails AND phone calls, or visits, until she can get back to doing what she loves to do most (aside from her family) and that is be with YOU!

Hey girls, I'm on the sofa with my lap top. You are all amazing. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. This is crazy, but I just knew you were all praying for me and it made such a difference in my thought process while laying there in pain.

Oh my gosh...I was away from the computer all weekend and look at how much happens in just a few days!!!
