Hi everyone-wanted to introduce myself, and thank the Queen (JawJaw that is) for her encouragement to join this forum. Looks like a lot of fun sharing goes on here-I look forward to contributing and getting to know everyone.
Briefly, my real profession is Program Service Coordination for Preschool Special Ed. My other passions are of course writing-poetry, essays, memoirs, educational "stuff," and children's stories. I also have illustrated a few title covers, and illustrate on a freelance basis. I love to spend with my dogs-training, grooming, and just having plain old fun. We also do rescue work and Pet Therapy. Well seems I rambled on a bit, sorry...look forward to joining in the fun!
Hi Queen & Pam!

I can hardly wait to get to know you better. If you know the queen and Pam you must be a fun person. [Wink]

Yuhooooo....Danaaaaaa....I am so tickled to see you here! Girls, Dana is being too modest about her accomplishments. When I think of Ms D...I think "an eagle don't ride a bus, he flies.."

That's her. First class illustrator, writer, and most importantly, friend. Check out her westies...beautiful, eh?

Her hubby is a hunk too. I asked her if I could have him but being the narrow-minded selfish friend she is, she said NO! Go figure...

Love ya gal--WELCOME!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome-I sincerely appreciate it. I look forward to coming to the boards and learning about all of you, regularly. Pam & JJ hugs as always my special friends! Dotsie and Robin looking forward to getting to know you both! (Thanks for checking out my site Robin) And my dear Queen...for a price, and depending on the day I might let you have the hubby for a while, but then you would probably want a refund. Great to be here! Dana

Hi ho Dana, welcome to our home...I really enjoyed your site and was so surprised to see the amber aleert. What a terrific idea. I was especially surprised to see my cursor followed along by the words "may peace follow you." Now, last but not least my two Yorkies Reeta and Rosee want to know the name of the handsome West Highland White Terrier. Both girls were snitting about who would write to him first online. I told them that the he might be a she but they said, nope? You will love it here... [Razz]

Thanks so much! Meredith thanks for checking out my site, appreciate your comments.
Chatty, hate to break it to the "girls" but all of the Westies are girls. However, if Rosee and Reeta would consider a Scottie, Trevar says he'd really like to get to know those little babes. Course, he's a perfect gentleman. There is actually 3 different Westies on my site-Shanna, Darby, & Hanna (Hanna is the smaller one with the expressions) Tell the girls that all my fur friends love mail, (but secretly my girls want ALL of the mail)They love to write-matter-of-fact Hanna has been working on her book for some time. (Good to know other doggie people)
I hear ya' Nancy-nice to meet you too!
Thanks for the welcome Vivki-I look forward to cruising the boards here.
And Madam Queen? I'll send him to you on Sunday-the Philadelphia Eagles are playing. You can have a great (?) time watching the game. (Actually he is pretty entertaining, but he can be a very poor sport. Course ya' know that just feeds me)
Thanks everyone! Dana

My Reeta and Rosee are little hussies and like all the males, however I had them fixed so it's all "Freedom Riding" for them if one should get too frisky. The girls you have are adorable too and I think all would get along well but maybe my Reeta, she can be a real little bitch at times..... [Confused]

Whoa-been a little while since I've been here-please pardon my tardiness in responding.

Claire, thanks for visiting & reading my poem about my mother.

Donna J-thank you for the welcome and I'm sure you'll get those creative juices flowing again.

Chatty-one of my girls can be a little b-tchy at times too, perhaps we can get together for a
b-tch fest?

Hey Speaker mom congrats on your article-sounds great! I know that is always an issue especially in day cares and preschools.

Thanks to you Vicki, Sherri, & Di-it IS great to be here!!!

Erica,
WELCOME! I did view your web page and like Chatty, I have to say the book sounds VERY interesting! Also, the second book, Murder in the Pit, is one I think will be well worth the read. We have other mystery writers here on the board and my guess is you will become fast friends! Along with the rest of us, of course...

So welcome girl. We're all honored you've chosen to join us! You've found a place to chat, hang out, read, get advice, give advice, laugh, cry, and from time to time, even get your dander up...hey, come to think about it, it's just like home.

Erica, welcome. Great site. Very well done, organized, informative, and easy to navigate.

I love the idea of doing seminars on cruises. What a great way to spread the word about your work. You have a captive audience for days. [Wink] Do you sell lots of books doing that?
