I'll "'fess up". What I HAVE TO COMPLETE or SUBMIT .
A psychological/suspense novel (thriller :I hope)
A book of poetry: " I Heard Your Soul Cry"
both of which had interested publishers before life got in the way.
A short story.(not "fluffy"-of the times)
A childrens book for illustration: Jo-Jo Grinder and the Easter Bunny (working title) one about "Buckaroo Bear" One about a christmas mouse
whose name is both Italian & Scottish.
And the one that has assumed priority is a
"coffee table" book incorporating original art and photography of an abandoned lumber mill with poetry. A collaborastion, as the photos are the
work (wonderful work) of a friend. Which friend is also a poet with a distinctly different voice than mine. I concieved the idea as presenting both poetic views.
Why is it taking priority? Because it is all there, and I am as near assured of a publisher as one can be without a signed contract............and\
I NEED a quick ego-cum- restored confidence-fix!
It has been far too long since I have been published or heard. My burgeoning incentive..
from you at Boomerspeak. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! [Smile]

Ever Rhetorical. I'm back.
I also have been working on my first play, I never
thought I would venture there until certain "fraternal" organizations and Community
involvments sought fund-raisers. The offerings
and selection, sparked the "Hell, I can do better than that" thing. Like in ...everyone thinks they can write a book..They "just haven't taken the time........"
I found I liked it. studied a bit, and am (naturally) rather impressed with my effort. Of course I THINK I'M FUNNY". [Wink]
A comedy/satire in three acts. I would like to
get opinions from those here who are playwrights.
Guess I'll check with Critique Group.

Hi Angie and welcome to the best forum on the web. The women here are full of encouragement and inspiration. The writers here are wonderful!

I mostly write essays but am working on some short stories as well. I have an essay posted here at BWS on the home page, in the invitation section (I think?) I won Dotsie's contest and I can't tell you what a boost it was to my ego.

Today I found out that an essay I wrote will be published online at the DabblingMum this month. When it's up I'll post the link so everyone can read it.

Believe it or not I've actually been doing some writing. I wrote a one act play to be performed in a series of seven scenes. It was for a Bible study and I performed in a couple of the scenes. It was a lot of fun.
I published a short Christmas story and I think six or seven of my poems are coming out in an anthology soon.
I'm hoping to get a lot of writing done while I'm immobilized.

Women are writing and getting accepted all the time in here. Keep up the good work!

I recently had articles accepted by christianwomentoday.com, womentoday.com, and longstoryshort.us.

Ladies, read their submissions and submit! [Big Grin]

Smile, why are you immobilized? I'm so glad to hear you're writing again.

Mixed, start submitting your work!

I have one book published and am currently working on two screenplays at the same time! I always make things more difficult than they should be. [Big Grin]

Long Story Short is a great site. They take fiction, non-fiction, essays, poetry. Another good one to submit to is www.clevermag.com. Try it.

Hello and welcome,
Sorry I have been so long in replying. I am working on two novels with two ideas for two more for YA. I write an article everyt week for Just For Mom that are posted in my column Writermom's Corner. I also have two short stories in various stages of development. So if anyone in here is crazy it is probably me.
