This is a wonderful place to be. I can relate to living in a fixer-upper. It's hard work. Do you ever watch home renovation/decoration shows like Trading Spaces or This Old House? But it didn't take long to figure out that it isn't as easy as it looks on tv. You can tell they have many more people behind the scene than they show! Daisygirl

If I were her apprentice, I would get fired first go around. Course, I would never make it on the show to begin with. A friend of mine and an acquaintance of hers, built a tree house for my friend's grandson. I was amazed at what they did. The details (that only a woman would think of) they included, the safety features. It was awesome. She has told me they would help me to build a screen-in back porch for my house and after reading your post, I'm about ready to tell them for us to go for it. Maybe we could? At least it wouldn't involve my stove. LOL! JJ
