I had a rather large infection on my right breast (boil) and I tried the old time remedies you guys were talking about on a forum about how Grandma was Dr., and IT WORKED! Black salve is made of magic. I have a one year old little girl that I could barley hug for two weeks, and it was breaking my heart. Thank you ladies so sooo much. I will never doubt Grandma wisdom medicine again!

The house is great, the baby is gorgeous, and the when the in-laws stop coming to visit, I feel we will have the time to finally settle in. I appreciate all of the feedback! Just a question of you black salve vets...when do I discontinue use? The infection still seems to be draining, but only when I use the salve. I mean, I don't particularly mind smelling like a truck stop, or road construction (the stuff sure has an odor), but I am afraid that maybe I am over using it. What do you think?
