That's interesting. Reactions can vary so tremendously. I was just the opposite with my kids - I wanted them to be confident (but not overly) and have the self-esteem I lacked! I have a feeling your kids and my kids both turned out the same way, regardless of our methods!

I hope you have a comfortable and peaceful night. I've had a tremendous amount of grief recently and am still working through some of it, so I can identify with your feelings. If you want to talk, feel free to send me a private message. I'd love to try to help you, or at just to let you talk it out.

momma, welcome. SOrry tohear about your grief. I haven't been to the Loss forum yet to see if you've been there, but many of us have either suffered, or are suffering through grief. I think you'll find some comforting words there if you browse around.

I think we should start a post, "momma always said." I'll find the right forum and do that.
