Anne Holmes Boomer in Chief Registered: 03/11/10 Posts: 3212 Loc: Illinois	Authoring Ladies, Just been thinking about the iPad as I rwead an article that said iPad sales are killing sales of the Amazon Kindle. Then I started thinking about what might happen if all books are only read/produced digitally? Just think you would miss the chance to smell the fresh ink on your newest work, wouldn't you? Here's an interesting post I just found that might be worth discussion: What will it mean when the ebook comes first? Or even if its the only format books take? Food for thought, right? Who needs printers? Who needs bookbinders etc etc…. I do believe editors will be flourishing, but the rest of the literary lovers will have to seek new job markets. That said, I doubt there will be any major changes for awhile yet, maybe never. I for one, and hundreds of thousands more, love to curl up with a 'real paper book.'
