We built a big igloo in our front yard
It was easy to make; the snow was sticky like lard.

It has chambers and rooms, and a tower so high,
It twinkles in the sunlight against the blue blue sky.

Alas the temperature rose, and the snow disappeared.
Still, that igloo stood it’s stand; it was rather weird.

Green grass peeked out between the last patches of snow.
Spiteful, the igloo remained strong against the warm sunny foe.

But the temperature dropped, and it snowed once more,
And now grandchildren proudly guard that ol’ igloo door.
