Edelweiss, they say God never gives us more than we can handle, well I believed this man had reached that point. The sorrow in his eyes and in his demeanor was so apparent. First to lose his beloved wife in childbirth, and then to maybe be losing his baby daughter to a cruel system. Oh my God, how could anyone endure that?

I was so fortunate to have what I had, loving parents, so many dear friends and plenty of the things one needs to live comfortably. The red convertible would have been fun sure, but necessary, no!

I was proud and happy to be of help to someone who really needed help from someone right then and there.

Oh and he named his little girl Sheril(Charlene)~~~~~~~.

We stayed in contact over the years mostly via mail as they live in Indiana. Oh and before you ask, he paid back every dime ($4300.00) with interest over the years, even though I never asked for repayment, he insisted, boy did he insist!!!

I never did buy a red convertible, but married a wonderful man many years later (my soulmate) and he owned a bright red, Cadillac Convertible with snowy white interior, which he gave to me as an engagement gift. Now how's that for KARMA???

OOPS! Almost forgot, thank you Jabber, and I am into chapter 15 as of today, moving right along...
