Thanksgiving day has gone with glee,
Now we're putting up the Cristmas tree.

Had our fill of turkey so what should we eat,
shall we go vegan or serve some other kind of meat?

I was thinking maybe canopies of different sizes and kinds,
my guests wondering what they are, challenging their minds.

Oh well, theres plenty of time to worry about that day,
I'd much rather be thinking what I'll get with Santa on his way.

When he comes down the chimmey at my home, he doesn't find cookies and milk,
it's broiled lobster tail with butter he gobbles with a bib so as not to ruin his suit of red silk.

Alas and alack even though they are great fun,
I'm always relieved to rest when these holidays are done...
