I have been following the recommendations for 2 years and my weight has been stable, with or without exercise alterations. It is based on making it easy for your body to keep to the proper pH balance. You get one of 2 food lists and that's it, no counting anything. Generally the 2 types are lighter or heavier foods but the purines, which I had never heard of, are listed to. My blog has all the book info. and the website "Nutrition Solution" by Harold Kristal.

I have also lost 3 more inches. That makes 10 inches and 14 pounds. Now the inches are from all over my bode, not one spot, but hey, I'll take it, am I right? Can I get a hallelujah? JJ

I was at my weight loss center yesterday - and they have this HUGE blob of fat. I'm like, "this is 10 lbs of fat, right?" The lady said, "nope, 5 lbs". I didn't believe her -- I made her weigh it. uggggghhhhhh it was only 5 lbs. GROSS! Paste a couple of those on your body - and imagine what it looks like. danita
