INDEPENDENCE DAY - USA
The 2nd Continental Congress July of 1776, Appoints a five-person committee, Here are the gentlemen they pick: Thom Jefferson, Ben Franklin, John Adams, Bob Livingston and Roger Sherman, too. Mission is to debate, edit, rewrite, A legally binding tool, Allowing their Thirteen Colonies to withdraw, From Great Britain's governing rule.
Ultimately Congress does approve, The Declaration of Independence, worded really cool. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal"; "Inalienable rights"; "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness," being just a few. Soon Anniversary Festivals will get underway, 4th of July, The Fourth, or Independence Day, Whatever you wish or prefer to say, It's great to live where Freedom's flags wave!
They'll be picnics, reunions, pomp and parades, Commemorations, celebrations lasting days 'n days, Bonfires, fireworks, and patriotic displays. They'll be singing, "The Star-Spangled Banner," "God Bless America," "America the Beautiful," "This Land is Your Land," "My Country 'Tis of Thee," "Stars 'n Stripes Forever." So everybody...join-in the fun, It's great to be an American! It's so great to be an American!

TOO GRAND TO UNDERSTAND
The Almighty Creator of universal things, In His own image makes two, human beings. But this woman and this man are disobedient souls, Immediately foiling God's plans, so the story goes.
God's wisdom tells Him, His earthlings won't survive, Lest He and His Spirit, somehow in them abide. Thus Heavenly Father, Man of action is He, Becomes human himself, to protect people like these.
Birthed of a Virgin and laying in a manger, Mary's baby boy is born, facing terrible danger. Jesus the Son of God, becomes a sacrificial lamb, Shedding blood for the souls of each 'n every man.
It's Christmastime and Christians' here 'n everywhere, Celebrate the birth of Christ, God's own Son not spared. Nothing will ever outshine Heaven's blessed Trinity, Father, Son, Holy Ghost, we're praising Thee Three!

NEW YEAR'S 2016
Right now, here in Eastern USA, New Year's Eve day is a bit gray.
Soon 2015 'll join the annals of history, And 2016 shall unearth all its mystery.
If you have enjoyed this passing year, May that happiness remain yours, darlin' dear.
To those down-and-out and in major despair, Let 2016 cleanse your problems, destroy your care.
And to the abused and homeless, lonely and blue, May Heaven's blessings instantly overtake you.
Happy New Year boomers' all 'round the world, I'm praying God's blessings engulf you girls.
Here's hoping Jesus's Blood, blankets your life, So goodness and mercy can swallow the strife!

DADDY'S VALENTINES
Daddy's love for mother is very special to behold, Sparkling like snowy crystals in the super, super cold.
As Valentine's Day approaches, each and every year, A huge heart-shaped box of candy, doth magically appear.
A frilly, fancy bow is sprawling a satin-covered top, Eating the creamy chocolates inside, is very hard to stop.
Children learn by example, is what they always say, This couple models true love just living day-to-day.
Three jobs filled daddy's life, when strong 'n young was he, Obviously he loved them all, by songs he sung freely.
A landlord, a farmer, a milkman, are jobs daddy took seriously, And daddy loved his wife, even that a blind man could see.
O'er sixty years they're married, and married blissfully, Ne'er a February came 'round, he dealt with thoughtlessly.
Ah, it's getting nearer: Sweet, sweet Valentine's Day, 'N here's a big ole heart of candy, to Pearl from daddy Ray!

MIRACULOUS EASTER
If amazed and awestruck this time of year, You're not alone, that's perfectly clear.
Spring brings forth buds all over the place, Surely Easter doth brighten society's face.
Can't help but picture an ole wooden cross, An innocent suffering for the guilty and lost.
Jesus lowered Himself to be raised on a cross, Laid down His life; took it up at great cost.
With nails in His hands and a nail in His feet, Christ Jesus is crucified, belittled, and beat.
But! Third day of crucifixion, angels are singing, "Christ Has Risen from the dead"; Heaven is ringing.
Neither disease nor death can touch Him again, Living eternally is God's Son, the Son of Man.
Humans can now meet the dawn with song, God promises double relief for whatever goes wrong.
Father, Son, Holy Ghost, thy heart with comfort filling, Fear not little children, your sorrow God is stilling!
