You are all correct in saying I was ready. This is so true. And you are correct again in saying that the encouragement I've received here is getting a big bonus...it will make my journey be more successful. I'm sure of it. NEVER ... EVER underestimate your support and the impact it has on our boomer lives.

Oh and great idea with the pic's! I have a picture of me recently from Thanksgiving, and so I'll use that for the BEFORE. I'm going to take progressive ones all along the way. What a great idea, thanks! I would share them with you all, but then I'd have to shred your tongues...or kill you.

The next couple of days will be the hardest in trying to not over-indulge in all the goodies present on every holiday table.

May you find the strength to resist or at least take smaller portions.

Speaking of pictures...I have a friend who put her fat picture on the inside of the junk food cabinet she had for her kids. It discouraged her from indulging. Maybe we should try using a picture of us in our bathing suits...

Nope, can't do that...no one would ever open that door again.
