meredithbead The Divine Ms M Registered: 07/07/03 Posts: 4894 Loc: Orange County, California	Last Monday, I led a workshop, "Catharsis Through Writing" for a Wisdom Circle group of which I'm a member. 14 people attended, and everyone told me how much they enjoyed the presentation. When people tell me how much they were moved by something I did or said -- it humbles me. It reminds me of how we all play a role in the larger fabric. Mountain Ash Member Registered: 12/30/05 Posts: 3027	I agree Meridith. Talents are given as gifts to everyone and for me it is a source of great interest to see what each person has as theirs. As I rest my eyes on a person in whatever group I am in I ponder about what their gift is.

My problem has always been being a workaholic, and saying about the things I wanted to do for myself, "oh I can do that next year." Mountain Ash Member Registered: 12/30/05 Posts: 3027	My daughter has a mature student back in her class at college.This lady is very shut in to herself amidst the younger women...Until she went on a trip to a reconstructed air raid shelter as part of a project..the doll who was the baby wearing a gas mask(A horrible thing for a baby)had her knitted cardigan on outside in..she was such a skilled knitter that she looked at the complicated pattern and felt empowered to speak out.. my job with special needs students taught me that everyone has a special something that if developed can shine..
