ODD TO MY EDITOR

Here Miss editor give this a whirl,
just say you like it, hope it doesn't make you hurl.

I write, and I write, then write somemore,
still not happy as I send my manuscript out the door.

It comes back with her comments all written in red,
by the looks of the redness, oops, I must be dead.

But then I read more, and her comments are neat,
she says that my story is charming and sweet.

It still needs some corrections, and those she did mark,
she has assured me my writing has not been just a lark.

Well, finally my manuscript to a publisher is ready to go,
if it's as good as we think, I will rake in some serious dough!
