Gims, I think it's fun when more than one of us writes using the same words. I think this whole thread is wonderful, and there's no such thing (IMO) as "hogging the words", because they're here for anyone to use, once, twice, several times over. When the spirit moves you to write, you gotta write.

Yes, it was a stormy day in November!
I was a little drunk, - can’t really remember.
- wanted to travel like they did on Kon-Tiki,
Ran out of drinks, and got so damn thirsty.
So I jumped off, and cried “Oh mercy”!

Now I’m sitting in a bar drinking whisky,
mourning over my raft, feeling misty.
Tired of traveling, don't want to roam.
"Hellooooo? - Can anyone out there take me home?"

I wish, isn't Dr. Spock the kid doctor... better yet, I wouldn't mind being his daughter. He must be really old now... he was looking it when my daughters were still youngsters.

I have decided to combine several of you ladies words if thats okay! Who's hogging now? LOL!!!

As I write this poem, oh my, oh me,
I laugh and chuckle, filled with GLEE.

My brow is furled, pain in my head,
Why ever did I begin this THREAD?

With a sharp stick I feel a poke,
Then I realize that I am BROKE.

Though maybe now I can't act so kurt,
Being pennyless is starting to HURT.

I use to save cash like a church mouse,
Now I spend like the keeper of a LIGHTHOUSE.

If only I had talent some type of craft,
I could go sailing, not just floating on this RAFT.

The air is damp my dress feels soggy,
Can't see a bloody thing cause its so FOGGY.

I should turn back and not tempt fate,
Before I hit the rocks and mush like CHEESECAKE.

I am starving, I am feeling so wet,
I wish and am dreaming of ooey-gooey CHOCOLATE.

A happy tune I will be belting,

These two old friends were in stitches

Not long ago they fought like two fools
So they patched up and mended their hurt
They button their lips now and see eye to eye
In the end they would each give their shirt
