I've been so busy, I've barely been in the forums, and half the time I just read and run -- which I guess is better than post & run without reading.

Here's a short summary of what's been happening in my biz life:

Last week, I delivered 92, count 'em, 92 pieces of mostly brand-brand new jewelry to a local gallery which sells a lot of my stuff. Made, tagged, inventoried and delivered on time for their fall show which opened on Saturday.

Still spending abysmally long hours on website stuff. Most of the time, it takes longer to take/edit/post/describe a picture than it does to make the jewelry.

Wednesday I got a call from a smaller gallery where I also display. They want to give me a whole 'nother shelf for display, provided I can fill the shelf by tomorrow. Uh huh.

Now that the weather has cooled off, I'm back at the farmers' market and craft shows.

Monday, I'm leading a workshop on "Catharsis through writing" for a local group.

Bunches of stuff coming up in November.

Didn't you also have another paid job that's entirely different from jewellery biz?

Sounds like you need some yoga time here and there.

But great that biz is booming at this time!

no other paid job at all. Jewelry biz is my only income.

I do try to go to the gym. Took a cycling class today.

'cuse me while I wipe the sweat from my brow....good grief woman, when do you sleep? I already know the answer to that one. It's when your talking to hubby...right? Your eyes are open but you're really sleeping.

I should follow just a little bit of your example and I would be setting the world on fire. I so admire you!

I'm so glad to hear that your business is doing well in this economy. Count your blessings dear girl. Though I'm not surprised. I'm a big fan of your work!

I ditto Dotsie, Meredith. I am glad to know you're busy. It means all is jolly well. There is a downside though...I miss you here.

Thanks gals! Truth be told, I have to work my proverbial butt off (the real one still seems intact) to maintain. But at least I can maintain. I've been putting in 70 hours/week since the beginning of October, and usually that insanity doesn't start before November. *sigh*

I just figure -- we do what we have to do. And I do miss being here!

BTW, could you hire someone to do your website part of the biz?

Anno, I don't have the money to hire someone for website work. if I got extra funds, I'd use it for help around the house.
