I am so sorry for what you are going through. I have always had a soft spot for the elderly, I don't know why. Maybe it's an attraction to their wisdom.

My dad had shingles in his left eye a few months before he was diagnosed with his lung cancer. What torture it was for him to go through. I remember how stressed he was a couple of weeks before he had the shingles. BTW, the shingles and the cancer had nothing to do with the other. I only mention this because it was sad for him to finally get over it, only to have another illness await him.

Thanks for keeping us posted EW, and take it easy on yourself. I know it's easier said than done, but you'll have to try.
